Your greytHR payslip (salary slip) is available to download any time from the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal or the mobile app — you do not need to email HR. This guide shows how to download a single month or several months at once as PDF, the difference between the payslip types, and what to do if a payslip is not showing. National IT Service is an authorised greytHR partner and runs monthly payroll and payslip release for Indian businesses.
Go to Salary > Payslips, then in the popup choose Last 3 Months, Last 6 Months, or Select Time Period, and Download as PDF. If you select multiple months, greytHR groups them into a single ZIP file.
The CTC Payslip shows your full cost-to-company breakdown — including employer contributions like PF and gratuity — rather than just your take-home components. It is available as a separate tab on the Payslips page and is useful for loan or visa paperwork.
A payslip appears only after your payroll team has processed payroll and released payslips for that month. If a month is missing, payroll may not be finalised yet, or you may not have been active in that period — check with your HR/payroll team.
If your former employer has enabled the greytHR Alumni ESS portal, you can log in after separation to download historical payslips and tax documents. Otherwise, request them from your ex-employer's HR.
